A bridge to forever homes ❤️
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we spotlight Palm Beach County shelter dogs in need of short-term fosters for 7 days before they continue their journey to adoption through Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League!

👑👑 ALL HAIL PRINCESS MIA! 👑🐾

Her Royal Highness is officially out of the shelter and living the short term foster life! 🏡💖

Mia gets to decompress, show off her royal personality, and get one step closer to her forever home with Peggy Adams. And the best part? Her foster only had to say yes to 7–10 days! 🐶✨

Want to help the next shelter dog live like royalty? 👑 Apply through the link in our bio! 🐾

🐾 Milo’s next chapter looks a little cozier! 🏡❤️

Milo has been stuck in isolation while recovering from kennel cough. Now, thanks to an amazing foster, he gets to rest, recover, and feel more comfortable in a home instead of a kennel. 🥹

But here’s another amazing part of short-term fostering: when one dog gets out, another dog gets a chance to get out, too. By opening up kennel space, Milo’s foster is helping another pup in need.

That’s what this program is all about. It’s not just about helping one dog. It’s about creating a ripple effect that gives more dogs a chance. ❤️🐶

Milo gets a comfy place to heal, another dog gets a little more breathing room, and both get one step closer to their forever homes.

🏡 Have 7–10 days to spare? You could make this kind of difference, too! 👉 Apply to become a short-term foster through the link in our bio!

🚨 LOOKING FOR FOSTERS! 🚨

Our fosters keep becoming adopters! 😂❤️ Which is AMAZING… but it also means we need more foster homes!

Are you looking for a short term buddy? Someone to hang out with, take for walks, spoil a little, and maybe let take over your couch for 7–10 days? 🐶🏡

By opening your home for just a short stay, you’re doing SO much more than giving a dog a place to sleep.

You’re helping a shelter dog:
🐾 Get a much-needed break from shelter life
🐾 Decompress and feel safe in a home
🐾 Show their true personality
🐾 Make space in the shelter for another dog who needs help
🐾 Get one step closer to their forever family

That’s the whole mission of Short Term Foster Project: bridge the gap between shelter and forever. ❤️

And if your foster ends up becoming your forever dog? Well… apparently we’re pretty good at that part too. 😂

Ready to help?

👉 Head to the link in our bio to apply to become a short-term foster and see which dogs are currently waiting for their 7–10 day stay.

All it takes is 7–10 days to make a difference. 🐾

WELL… THAT ESCALATED IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE. 😂❤️

Hidalgo’s short term foster family fell in love, and Hidalgo officially went from “just fostering” to “okay fine, you live here now.” 🏡🐾

We couldn’t be happier for this sweet boy! His short term foster gave him exactly what he needed and then gave him something even better: a forever home. ❤️

🎃👻 A little spooky season magic is happening around here… 👻🎃

Meet a few of the newest faces looking for a short term foster home! 🐾

These dogs are currently waiting at the shelter for someone to give them a cozy place to decompress for just 7–10 days. From there, they can continue their journey to Peggy Adams and get one step closer to finding their forever family. 🧡

And these are just a few of the pups who need a place to land… more spooky faces are coming! 👀🎃

No tricks. No long-term commitment. Just a little time, a comfy home, and the chance to help a shelter dog take the next step. 🏡🐶

Alfie has been picked up by another rescue, and we couldn’t be happier for him!

His path may look a little different than some of our other dogs, but no matter the path, the goal is always the same: get these dogs out of the shelter, give them the chance they deserve, and help them find their forever home. 🏡❤️

There’s no one right path - there’s just the path that gets them where they need to go. 🐶❤️

Go be great, Alfie. We’ll be cheering you on every step of the way! 🥹🐾

SOMETIMES, THE BEST FOSTER HOME IS THE ONE THAT DECIDES IT’S NOT A FOSTER HOME ANYMORE! 🥹❤️

Zeus went home with a short term foster for a little break from the shelter... a chance to decompress, be comfortable, and just be a dog.

But somewhere along the way, his foster family realized they didn’t want his stay to end. ❤️

So Zeus isn’t heading to Peggy Adams to wait for his forever family…

He already found them! 🏡🐾

His foster officially became his forever home, and we couldn’t be more excited for this sweet boy!

Happy forever, Zeus! We have a feeling you knew you were home before they did. 🥰🐶
