The Leadership PBC mission is to connect, enlighten, and empower leaders to build a better community. The purpose of our programs?

At LPBC, we see local industry leaders become community catalysts through our interactive leadership development programs. Our annual adult, youth, and intensive focus programs bring together diverse groups of Palm Beach County citizens. To foster generations of civic leaders, leaders who are interested in more that swapping business cards. Alumni of LPBC's programs are concerned citizens who are

committed to keeping this beautiful county a vibrant and thriving place to do business, go to school, and raise a family. As a tax exempt, non-profit organization governed by Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code, LPBC is prohibited as an institution from political activity. Therefore, we do not participate in campaigns for candidates for public office, nor do we support or oppose specific candidates or parties. LPBC’s own mission and values, however, leads it to engage elected officials and candidates for the purpose of community education and open discourse.

Our panel includes Rob Long, Florida State Representative for District 90, and Penny Gossett-Seidman, Florida State Representative for District 91.

Today, our alumni had the opportunity to experience Florida's natural wonders through the Florida Hatchling Discovery Program at Loggerhead Marinelife Center.

From witnessing a live sea turtle nest excavation to learning about the challenges these remarkable hatchlings face on their journey to the ocean, it was a memorable morning of education, conservation, and connection.

Thank you to the team at Loggerhead Marinelife Center for sharing your passion and expertise. Together we're reminded that leadership extends beyond boardrooms and into the communities and ecosystems we call home.

Leadership Palm Beach County is proud to announce its new Programs Manager, Ashley Cacicedo-Surdovel.

Ashley is a civic leader and communications professional dedicated to strengthening communities across Palm Beach County. A graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County's EPIC Engage Class of 2025, she is deeply involved in volunteer leadership, serving as President of the Women's Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County and Co-Chair of the League of Women Voters of Florida Young Adults Committee. She is also an active member of the League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County, a former Chapter Director of New Leaders Council Palm Beach, and serves on the South Florida Fair Scholarship Committee.
