This week, our Belle Glade team proudly stood alongside the community in support of the The City of Belle Glade Awareness Week. 💗💜❤️💚
Each day, we wore colors representing Breast Cancer Awareness, Domestic Violence Awareness, Substance Abuse Prevention, and Mental Health Awareness, helping to raise awareness for causes that impact so many lives. Together, we showed that Belle Glade cares and that a strong community supports one another.

Last Friday, our Healthy Families team, Sharonda, Emmy, and Moryanne attended the Healthy Start - Florida Association of Healthy Start Coalitions conference in Orlando.
It was a great opportunity to connect, learn, and collaborate with partners dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Florida’s children and families. 💙

Our Chamber Manager, Emily Knowles, recently had the pleasure of visiting Families First of Palm Beach County and spending time with CEO Julie Swindler, learning more about the incredible work this organization has been doing in our community for over 35 years!

Since 1990, Families First has helped strengthen the lives of children and families throughout Palm Beach County!

From maternal and infant mental health services and parenting support to children's behavioral health, kinship caregiver assistance, and housing stability programs, Families First's mission goes beyond addressing immediate needs. It's about creating lasting, generational change by giving families the support, resources, and tools they need to build stronger futures

A huge thank you to Julie Swindler for sharing the story and mission of Families First. As a founding board member and past president of the Nonprofit Chamber, Julie has also played an important role in bringing our nonprofit community together. We are so grateful for her continued leadership and dedication to both organizations!
