đź’› Survivor Wisdom Wednesday đź’›

What advice would you give a parent whose child just finished treatment?

One of the greatest gifts our survivor families can offer is wisdom gained through experience.

This week, we’re turning to you.

If you could sit down with a parent whose child just rang the bell and share one piece of advice, what would it be?

Maybe it’s:
✨ Give yourself grace.
✨ Take lots of pictures.
✨ Celebrate every milestone.
✨ It’s okay to ask for help.
✨ The fear gets quieter.

No matter how big or small, your words may provide comfort, hope, and encouragement to another family beginning their survivorship journey.

đź’› Hospital days can feel endless.

When you’re spending days, weeks, or even months in a hospital room, you find creative ways to make memories, pass the time, and stay connected as a family.

Maybe it was a favorite book you read together so many times you could recite it by heart. 📚

Maybe it was a card game, board game, puzzle, coloring activity, movie, or special tradition that helped make a difficult day a little brighter. 🎲🧩🎨

As we celebrate our incredible survivors and the families who walked beside them, we’d love to hear from you:

✨ What was the special game, book, activity, or tradition that helped your family get through those long hospital days?

Share your memories in the comments. You never know when your idea might help another family currently walking the same journey. đź’›

June is Cancer Survivors Month đź’›

Today, we celebrate the warriors who continue to inspire us every single day. The children, teens, parents, and families who have faced unimaginable challenges with courage, strength, and hope.

At POST, we are honored to walk beside these incredible families through every step of their journey — from the hardest days to the happiest milestones.

Help us celebrate our survivors this month by dropping a đź’› in the comments or sharing the name of someone who inspires you.

đź’› Today, We Celebrate Survivors. All of Them. đź’›

For 28 years, POST has had the privilege of walking alongside children and families facing childhood cancer. Along the way, we’ve witnessed some of the most difficult moments imaginable—but we’ve also witnessed incredible victories.

This photo of Sophia ringing the bell in December is one of those victories.

Today, however, we aren’t just celebrating Sophia. We are celebrating every survivor whose life has been touched by POST over the past 28 years.

Whether you completed treatment six months ago, six years ago, or twenty-six years ago, you remain part of the POST family. Your strength, resilience, and determination continue to inspire us and the families currently navigating their own cancer journey.

💛 We’d love to hear from our survivors!

Tell us:
✨ What year did you finish treatment?
✨ What are you doing today?
✨ Share a recent photo or update.
✨ What advice would you give a family currently facing childhood cancer?

Let’s fill this post with stories of hope, resilience, and life beyond cancer. Your journey may be exactly what another family needs to see today.

Please tag a survivor, share this post, and help us celebrate the incredible community of survivors that has grown over the past 28 years.

Standing up for children with cancer đź’›

These moments aren’t just photos—they represent a community that shows up, gives back, and makes our work possible. Because of people like you, we’re able to continue supporting families when they need it most… and create meaningful moments like our upcoming Survivor Party on June 7.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us.
