Share your comments on the proposed FAA changes by tomorrow, Oct. 2!! See the post below from our neighbor and FPNA Board Member, Raphael Clemente - thank you, Raphael, for providing this info!
Flamingo Park, El Cid, Palm Beach neighbors: you have until FRIDAY to tell the FAA how you feel about their new flight path that they want to make permanent.
Since October 2025, a "temporary" flight restriction has routed departing jets from PBIA right over our historic neighborhoods. Now the FAA wants to make it permanent around the clock.
The FAA says the change has "little to no impact." Clearly, the FAA has never tried to finish a sentence on my porch.
The good news: the public comment period is open, and every comment has to be considered.
The bad news: it closes Friday, October 2.

Tips so your comment counts:
Be specific. What time do the planes wake you? How often? What can't you do outside anymore?
Ask the FAA to do a real environmental review, to apply the restriction only when a protectee, i.e. the president, is actually in town, and to restore the old spread-out departure paths.
It takes 10 minutes. The jets will give you plenty of 2½-minute breaks to write it.
