Every city has a “opportunity zone” and needs a “opportunity zone fund” to store and distribute funds for various development projects. United Hands For Global Impact Inc is petitioning cities who are in need of leveraging infrastructure redevelopment dollars to invest those dollars through a funding source that eliminates them having to privatize public property and projects in order to meet development needs. The only way to do this is for the governing agency to INVEST on behalf of their taxpayers into UHGI’s opportunity zone fund and give the tax credits to the taxpayers living within that municipal boundary. Help us advocate giving the taxpayers the advantage so that everyday working class people can use this opportunity to create a residual income from the investment returns this market will yield. Traditionally (P3’s) give the investor opportunity to a bank or private individual investor and either party receives the TAX Exempt interest for funding development needs. Under our modern (Imperial) approach we give the investor opportunity to the residents and tax payers who are affected by the development happening in their communities. We also allow tax payers who don’t have as many development needs in their city to invest in urban community development projects. This helps stop gentrification and offers more of an affordable funding approach so private investors can’t consume this entire Redevelopment market. Our biggest win is that we give the TAX PAYERS the investor roll so they can get the money they invested back with INTEREST. This helps keep PUBLIC facilities PUBLICLY owned and doesn’t place tax payers at the mercy of the redevelopment market. We need the tax payers to stand up and fight with us so that your tax dollars are invested on your behalf and not to serve the interest of private developers. The “Imperial” approach to funding Infrastructure Redevelopment is the ultimate way for cities to save money and get their development needs met in a way that includes their tax payers as the beneficiaries for funding various development projects. UHGI is a NONProfit Development corporation that finances 100% of various infrastructure redevelopment projects. We advocate the “Imperial” approach to funding infrastructure Redevelopment; which gives “taxpayers” the lead role as investors in redeveloping their community. Most of these projects are taxpayer funded rather in part or in full. By positioning taxpayers as the investor; this allows the taxpayers to receive the tax exempt interest for funding these projects opposing giving the benefit to private investors from outside of the community.
Since the majority of every municipalities budget is going towards funding their development needs we encourage municipalities to UNITE and pool their contributions so that the residents can claim their investment as a charitable donation and receive the tax credit for investing. These pooled contributions are leveraged in a way that creates a large enough surplus to incentivize tax payers for investing at the local, state, and ultimately the federal level. By encouraging municipalities to unite it makes the cost to redevelop very affordable on constituents and gives working class taxpayers skin in the game.
UHGI is about spreading the wealth amongst a massive pool of working class investors; instead of allowing only a few wealthy investors to invest and consume this entire market.
