Traditionally (P3’s) give the investor opportunity to a bank or private individual investor and either party receives the TAX Exempt interest for funding development needs. Under our modern (Imperial) approach we give the investor opportunity to the residents and tax payers who are affected by the development happening in their communities. We also allow tax payers who don’t have as many development needs in their city to invest in urban community development projects. This helps stop gentrification and offers more of an affordable funding approach so private investors can’t consume this entire Redevelopment market. Our biggest win is that we give the TAX PAYERS the investor roll so they can get the money they invested back with INTEREST. This helps keep PUBLIC facilities PUBLICLY owned and doesn’t place tax payers at the mercy of the redevelopment market. We need the tax payers to stand up and fight with us so that your tax dollars are invested on your behalf and not to serve the interest of private developers.
