From our very first program with President Jimmy Carter in 1976 to welcoming a sitting President of the United States during our milestone anniversary season, this year was a powerful reflection of the Forum Club’s five decades of civic dialogue and community engagement.

As we conclude the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches’ landmark 50th Anniversary Season, we want to extend our sincere gratitude to our members, sponsors, volunteers, and guests for your incredible support throughout this historic year. Today’s program featuring Florida House Speaker Daniel Perez was a fitting conclusion to what has been one of the most successful seasons in the organization’s history.

We are especially grateful to our outgoing president, Harvey E. Oyer, III, whose leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment helped guide the Forum Club through this milestone year. Harvey’s passion for thoughtful dialogue and civic engagement has helped elevate the organization to new heights, and we thank him for the extraordinary role he played in making this anniversary season the most successful in Forum Club history.

A historic night for a milestone moment.

Fifty years ago, former Congressman Dan Mica and a group of young business leaders created a trusted, nonpartisan forum—one that has grown into Florida’s premier destination for thought leadership, uniting nearly 800 of our region’s most engaged business, civic, and political leaders.

For a half century, the Forum Club has been a place where ideas are thoughtfully examined and elevated, welcoming more than 500 distinguished speakers in pursuit of one mission: to stimulate thought and promote dialogue.

On Friday night, we reflected on that journey—from our first program with President Jimmy Carter, then on the campaign trail, to our 50th Anniversary Celebration featuring, for the first time, a sitting President of the United States, President Donald J. Trump.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this extraordinary evening—and to the community that has sustained this organization for five decades.

As we celebrate this milestone, we honor the legacy—and look ahead to the next 50 years of impact.
