What a fantastic turnout! 16 veterans attend the Wednesday session at 4:00 PM at Park Ridge. This particular class began with a focused 30-minute instructional period, giving the veterans time to hit balls and receive professional coaching. Fousllowing the lesson, the groups hit the course to play a scramble format until dusk.

We are proud to announce that our Senior Program Director, Emily Valentine has been selected to represent our chapter as a lead coach at the First Tee Game Changers Academy this summer in Minneapolis, MN! ⛳️

This opportunity will bring together coaches from across the country to engage in meaningful conversations with teens around self-awareness, inclusivity, and community building- helping develop the next generation of Game Changers.

Chapter student Wylie Inman was medalist at Eagle Trace today posting 3-under qualifying for the FSGA Amateur to be played at Dye Preserve and Admirals Cove. Chapter alumni TREE Mistretta also qualified finishing at 2-under.

The Breakers Palm Beach generously supports our Chapter in many ways. Mark Reid, Director of Golf and Grounds Maintenance at the Breakers, and a Chapter Director, brings his maintenance teams out to the Finnegan Learning Center. The Breakers team comes with their equipment, multiple times per year, to help us with agronomic and landscape projects. We cannot accomplish these projects and turf practices with our small maintenance team. Mark and his maintenance staff donate hundreds of hours each year. They are the reason our facility is maintained at the level of a private club.

The Breakers sense of social responsibility extends to their team, the environment and the community. From employee wellness and sustainable practices to community enrichment and powerful partnerships, their commitments not only ensure enduring success, but also contribute to a sense of greater good.

Beyond the Tee kicked off their new life and social skills golf clinics on Saturday mornings at Dyer Park. One participant said to Coach Bo “The clinic was his favorite ever!”

We enjoyed a fund day at the Boynton Beach Family Fun Day, sponsored by the Schoolhouse Children’s Museum at the Boynton Beach Amphitheater in Centennial Park! Students played dress up to celebrate their heroes: princesses, fairytale characters, superheroes, and much more. Our team hosted three interactive golf stations focused on chipping and putting.
