Throughout the year, SENA hosts social mixers, including our annual family Holiday party.

The most important SENA Meeting of the year is coming up! Join us on Tuesday, October 20th for our SENA Annual General Membership Meeting & Board Member Elections.

District 5 Commissioner Stephen Sylvester, a former SENA Board member himself, will give an update on the "State of the Southend".

We will also recognize additional elected officials and candidates for office at the municipal, county, and state levels.

We encourage residents to come and meet our SENA Board Members and Business Members.

We always want to hear input on what local issues are most important to our residents.

⭐️ Interested in joining the SENA Board of Directors and helping guide the future of the Southend? Elections for open positions will be held at this meeting. Please email our nominating committee at [email protected] and be sure to attend the Annual Meeting.

SENA Board Member Expectations
1) Attend monthly SENA Board Meetings (3rd Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm)
2) Be willing to serve a minimum of 1 term (2 years)
3) Participate! We need residents who are willing to give their time, energy, and ideas! This means serving on a SENA committee, volunteering at our events, and representing us in the community.

Sharing details on an important neighborhood discussion happening this Saturday 9/19 at 10:30 am at the Lakeside Presbyterian Church on Flagler. It’s important we all understand the impact that proposed redevelopment along Flagler Drive throughout WPB can have on the future of the Southend.

Incredible work by the Oscar Strong Foundation

BIG NEWS! The Oscar Strong Foundation has installed 7 new SaveStations with AEDs throughout West Palm Beach parks, bringing our total to 14 publicly accessible AEDs in the community.

We know firsthand that sudden cardiac arrest can happen unexpectedly, even to someone who looks completely healthy.

That is why access and preparedness matter so much.

In those first few minutes, recognizing sudden cardiac arrest, starting CPR and getting an AED can be the difference between life and death. We want people in our community to know what to do, feel prepared to act and have lifesaving equipment close by when it is needed most.

We are so grateful to the City of West Palm Beach Parks and Recreation Department and West Palm Beach Fire Department for helping us identify these locations, and to our donors and supporters who make these placements possible.

7 new locations. 14 publicly accessible AEDs.

Take a good look or one last trip through our vintage Publix on Southern - SENA has confirmed that the store will close in September for renovations. The work is expected to take at least 1 year to complete - tentative September 2027 reopening. 🛒 Publix Super Markets
