Animal Friends Project Inc.

Animal Friends Project Inc. Animal Friends Project of Delray Beach, FL focuses on helping homeless cats in low income areas. We practice TNRM Trap Neuter Return Monitor of community cats.

We help sick and injured animals by providing veterinary care and adoption whenever possible. We are a very small group of volunteers who work tirelessly to help people care for the animals in Palm Beach County. We focus on low income areas and trap/neuter/return as many homeless cats as possible. We rescue sick or injured cats. Whenever possible, we rescue friendly homeless adult cats and dozens

of kittens and find them indoor homes. We partner with other organizations in our area and in other states to find homes for these deserving animals. We also help dogs and pet cats by providing medical care, food, flea preventatives and information to pet owners.

I’m so grateful to Furry Friends for accepting this super friendly girl into their adoption program 💕. She comes from Altman Plant Nursery in Loxahatchee, FL. Through the years we have fixed and rescued many cats from there. Some have been injured and have died because it is a dangerous place for cats to live.

This pretty girl was the only survivor of her litter. Her mom had another litter and the workers asked us if we could help them before they got hurt. Her mom and younger siblings went to rescue but ACC didn’t ask for rescue for her because she was older and healthy. They said she was fine to “Return to Home”. I am so thankful for the opportunity to get her into a great rescue that will find her the home and security she deserves. She is very friendly and sweet. She will make a family very happy. 💕

I was able to trap 3 cats at a mobile home park in Lake Worth. We had trapped there, I think 3 years ago, but there are many new unfixed cats at the same houses.

I get so many calls every day, most from the same places where we trapped before. We would need dozens of people trapping non stop to really make a difference.

Happy Easter! These kittens are 11 years old now! I hope they are doing well. They were accepted into Peggy Adams’ adoption program so they were adopted locally. I always see these photos on Easter and it brings me back to those days when we used to spend hours playing with the kittens we rescued.

I am so glad I was able to see this sick opossum in one of the shelters. I thought it was sleeping but then I saw flies all around. He tried to move but was too weak. I was able to put him in a big plastic tote and I took him to Busch Wildlife Center in Jupiter. They said they would try to help him. I just didn’t want him to suffer. I am not sure if it is the same one that sleeps in the wooden shelter or if it is a different one.

I was able to bring 2 female cats for TNVR surgeries at Furry Friends today. I saw so many more unfixed cats on the streets. I hope to fix a couple more next week.

Sweet Weee/Baby loves this box with a blanket. I don’t remember how long she has been with us indoors but we fed her at the clubhouse of our development since 2012. She was spayed by a vet that lived in the neighborhood but she was not being fed regularly when we first noticed her.

We are so happy to have her safe now. We used to worry about her when it rained or it was cold since we never knew where exactly she slept. We would only see her very late at night when we went to feed her.
