While today is often associated with music, food, and celebration, Cinco de Mayo also commemorates the Battle of Puebla in 1862, where the Mexican army achieved an unexpected victory against French forces. It has become a symbol of resilience, pride, and cultural identity.

We also recognize and celebrate the immense contributions of the Mexican community to our culture, our profession, and our communities every single day. Grateful for spaces that allow us to celebrate our heritage while building meaningful connections within the legal community.

An elegant evening celebrating service, community, and the legal profession.

The Hispanic Bar Association of Palm Beach County was proud to attend the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County’s Gala, where our President, Angie Pagan, our Immediate Past President, Gina Fraga, and several of our members joined judges, attorneys, and leaders from across Palm Beach County’s legal community for a beautiful Italian-themed evening.

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with colleagues, celebrate the incredible work of Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, and reaffirm the importance of access to justice for our community.

Flash back Friday to a well-deserved recognition and a meaningful afternoon.

The Palm Beach County Hispanic Bar Association was honored with the Legal Aid Society’s Fifteenth Judicial Circuit 2025 Voluntary Bar Association Pro Bono Award—a reflection of the real work being done to expand access to justice in our community.

Grateful to celebrate alongside dedicated attorneys and leaders, and to recognize those who also received the 2025 Pro Bono Bronze Awards.
