Freddie Menard is a Haitian-American South Florida Native. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 2016 and Cum Laude from Florida State University College of Law in 2019. She currently practices as an attorney in South Florida dealing primarily with criminal cases. She also mentors law students for law school and Bar Exam preparation and success in addition to running her own travel and special events business. During her short tenure as an attorney, Ms. Menard has already coauthored an article for the Palm Beach County Bar Association on the importance of her office’s conviction review unit and has been very involved in the South Florida legal community. She is a member of the Young Lawyers Division of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and serves as the Chair of the Young Lawyers Section of the F. Malcolm Cunningham Sr. Bar Association. This year, she also served as the inaugural co-chair of the Juneteenth Celebration Committee for the Sheree Davis Cunningham Black Women Lawyers Association where she highlighted and celebrated Black culture through the Arts, featuring African Drumming/Dancing, Poetry, Live Art, Music Performances, and Jewelry Making. Ms. Menard also serves as the Chair of the PBC Florida Association for Women Lawyers Public Relations Committee. In her spare time, Ms. Menard enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with loved ones.
