She's the woman who gets people organized. Speaks up when something isn't right. Shows up for her community. Has strong opinions about what needs to change and usually has a few ideas about how to change it.

Maybe she's talked about running for office someday. Maybe she hasn't considered it yet.

She should know about Women on the Run.

Florida women: Tuesday, August 18 is Primary Election Day.

And here's an important reminder: You may have races to vote in even if you aren't registered as a Democrat or Republican.

Florida has closed partisan primaries, but all registered voters can vote in nonpartisan races and public measures that appear on their ballot.

Don't assume there's nothing on your ballot.

Many local offices have a direct impact on our schools, courts, communities, and everyday lives, and some races can be decided during the primary.

Check your ballot. Make your plan. Vote Tuesday. 7am - 7pm

Women on the Run is a 10-week virtual, nonpartisan campaign training and mentorship program for women ready to run for office, lead campaigns, advocate for their communities, or serve in public leadership.
