Parents, families, and community members are invited to join Parents & Community for Real S*x Ed, a free in-person S*x Ed Action Lab Training happening this Saturday in Tampa.

This training will help participants learn how to advocate for real s*x education in their school district, understand how decisions are made, and practice how to effectively speak up in their community.

Women on the Run showed up in the August Primary!

On August 18, Fourteen (14) Women on the Run alumnae and mentors were on the ballot across Florida.

The results:

10 won their elections
2 of those winners are advancing to runoff elections
10 Women on the Run alumnae and mentors will be on the November ballot

We are proud of every woman in our network who stepped forward to serve her community, put her name on the ballot, and lead.

Since 2013, Women on the Run has helped women build the skills, knowledge, confidence, and connections to pursue public leadership. Seeing alumnae and mentors continue to lead across Florida is what this work is all about.

Today is Women’s Equality Day.

We were proud to join the City of Lake Worth Beach as it officially proclaimed August 26, 2026, Women’s Equality Day, recognizing both the generations of women who fought to expand our rights and the work that continues today.

The 19th Amendment was an extraordinary milestone, but it did not deliver equal access to the ballot for all women. More than a century later, we still have work to do to ensure women have an equal voice, equal opportunity, and equal power in the decisions shaping our communities.

Thank you to the City of Lake Worth Beach for recognizing this important day and for honoring the women who came before us while calling all of us to keep moving equality forward.

We honor the past through our action. We lead today by using our power. And we inspire tomorrow by making women’s leadership the norm.

You know her.

She's the woman who gets people organized. Speaks up when something isn't right. Shows up for her community. Has strong opinions about what needs to change and usually has a few ideas about how to change it.

Maybe she's talked about running for office someday. Maybe she hasn't considered it yet.

She should know about Women on the Run.

Florida women: Tuesday, August 18 is Primary Election Day.

And here's an important reminder: You may have races to vote in even if you aren't registered as a Democrat or Republican.

Florida has closed partisan primaries, but all registered voters can vote in nonpartisan races and public measures that appear on their ballot.

Don't assume there's nothing on your ballot.

Many local offices have a direct impact on our schools, courts, communities, and everyday lives, and some races can be decided during the primary.

Check your ballot. Make your plan. Vote Tuesday. 7am - 7pm
