The Pink Queen Foundation is out and about raising awareness, education, and letting the community know that our Mission of “Bridging Families On The Cancer Journey” comes before the cancer diagnosis, during the cancer diagnosis, and beyond the cancer diagnosis.

Schumacher Buick has invited our organization to join them in raising awareness for their 9th Annual Health Fair.

We will love for you to support our cause so that we can continue to provide gift cards for gas, groceries, and living expenses such as basic utilities.

She was diagnosed with B.C. (stage 2b Inductal Carcinoma) at the age of 37.

She went through 6 rounds of Chemo.

She went through 32 rounds of Radiation.

She had a total of 5 breast surgeries due to infections, and failed reconstruction procedures.

She had to have a full hysterectomy 2 years later.

She battled depression.

She is under medication for heart failure(as a result of the aggressive cancer treatments).

She has Restrictive/Obstructive Lung Disease (damage to the lungs from radiation).

She spends her time advocating, educating, supporting women,and a small percentage of men that have been impacted by cancer.

She provides support and resources to caregivers.

I am She…..She is me…….I am her……. I am a (15year breast cancer survivor).

This fight is not about me…This fight is about those that are navigating through the cancer journey.

Good Afternoon FB Friends:

It is so hard to believe that Palm Beach County Public Schools have entered into the 2nd week of school. The summer went by really fast…..however, “The Sun” continues to bake us all.😜.

There are a low percentage of kids that are home schooled. Some by choice, others out of fear and worry. My heart goes out to families that are diagnosed with cancer and just trying to balance life on a daily basis.

Pictured below, a beautiful family (The Salazar’s). Vicki (mom) was diagnosed with cancer for the 3rd time. A local community organization referred this family to The Pink Queen Foundation. Mom decided to home school the kids, as she wants to keep her girls close to her. Although, she is very weak and frail….. mom has not given up on herself, and continues to trust God through the process.

This family is currently faced with the uncertain/unknown. Vicki(mom) has qualified for another trial treatment in hopes of a positive outcome.

The Pink Queen Foundation was able to bless this family with a Hope Basket, WaWa Gift Card, and her girls (Dunkin and Subway gift cards)along with a blanket and journals.

This family is in desperate need of financial support. Dad had to take a leave from his job to care for and travel mom to Tampa for trial treatments. This family has no income coming in and are relying on their church family, and food pantries to get by. Their landlord has been working with them to try and prevent eviction.

If anyone know of any organizations that can help this family with living expenses, please send a DM.
