🎓 Open to Florida high school and college teachers

Nominate an instructor who excels in TV Production, Film & Media, Digital Art, Cinematic Arts or Mass Media and has not previously won the award.

✍️ In 150 words or more, explain why your teacher deserves to be recognized. Tell us about a specific time your teacher went above and beyond for you. Describe how the instructor motivates students to do their best. Show how the teacher creates enthusiasm for the subject.

🎬 Emerging filmmakers: Your next short film could receive $60,000 in production funding.

The Vimeo Short Film Grant welcomes applications from filmmakers who dream of bringing their next original short film to life. Five selected filmmakers will each receive:

💲 $60,000 cash production grant
📸 Access to select Panavision camera packages and OWC storage
🎬 One-on-one mentorship with an acclaimed jury and the Vimeo Curation Team
🌟 Promotion and distribution on Vimeo

Before you call action, keep these important guidelines in mind:

📋 All inquiries about filming on public property must go through the Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission . Student permits typically take three full business days to issue, so plan ahead
🎥 Don’t disrupt businesses, pedestrians or traffic
🦺 People and wildlife must never be placed at risk
🏫 High school productions require an onsite teacher or designated school representative to help ensure students follow the guidelines and permit requirements.
