The grievance process can impact everything from medical concerns and safety issues to everyday conditions experienced by incarcerated individuals.

A public hearing on the proposed grievance rule changes will be held on June 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

This is an opportunity for families, advocates, and community members to share their concerns and help ensure decision-makers hear directly from those affected by these policies.

Meaningful change starts with informed voices and community participation.

Awareness is where change begins.

Many challenges affecting incarcerated individuals and their families often go unseen. By sharing information, having conversations, and supporting one another, we can help bring attention to issues that matter.

Every voice has the power to make a difference. Together, we can create greater understanding, stronger family connections, and positive change for the future.

What issue do you believe deserves more attention?

Staying connected with a loved one inside often comes with a cost that many people never see.

Phone calls, messaging services, travel for visits, gas, hotels, meals, and funds sent to support basic needs can add up quickly. For many families, these expenses become part of daily life because maintaining those connections matters.

Despite the financial challenges, families continue to show up, stay involved, and support the people they love. Behind every call, visit, and message is a commitment to staying connected.

Connection matters. 💙

Father's Day is coming up, and we're taking a moment to recognize the fathers who continue working to grow, rebuild relationships, and stay connected with their children.

A father's love doesn't stop because of difficult circumstances. Many fathers inside are striving every day to create a better future for themselves and their families.

💙 Tell us in the comments: What's one thing you appreciate about the father in your family?

Sleep plays an important role in both physical and mental well-being. A recent report from the Prison and Jail Innovation Lab highlights how factors such as excessive noise, constant lighting, overnight interruptions, and early schedules can make restorative sleep difficult for loved ones inside.

The report suggests that improving sleep conditions may support better health outcomes, reduce tension within facilities, and contribute to successful rehabilitation and reentry.

What are your thoughts on the importance of sleep and overall wellness for loved ones inside?

☀️ Florida heat is here—and it's only getting started.

For many families, rising temperatures bring concerns about how the summer heat affects their loved ones inside. As temperatures climb across the state, access to hydration, cooling measures, and heat relief becomes increasingly important.

This summer, we're highlighting the challenges extreme heat can create and sharing ways we can advocate for safe, humane conditions for our loved ones.

Every system has gaps.

Families see them. Loved ones experience them. And too often, those missing pieces can make an already difficult situation even harder.

If you could add one missing piece to the system, what would it be?

Better communication? More access to programs? Medical care? Mental health support? Family connection? Something else entirely?

Share your thoughts below. Your voice matters. 💙

Florida summers are challenging for everyone, but extreme heat can be especially difficult for those living in environments with limited options for cooling and relief.

Access to clean drinking water, airflow, cold showers, appropriate clothing, and other heat-mitigation measures can make a meaningful difference during the hottest months of the year.

As temperatures continue to rise, what concerns you most about summer conditions for your loved one inside?

Share your thoughts in the comments. 💙
