Members of the GFWC Greater West Palm Beach Women’s Club recently assisted a local disabled teacher with preparing her classroom for the new school year. Nine members decorated bulletin boards throughout the classroom. The ladies also brought art items and other needed items for the students. Pictured: Our members with the classroom teacher.

Shelly and Janice brought food donations to Pond Place, for persons who have aged out of the foster care system and now live in transitional housing apartments.

We had a busy day yesterday!
At our business meeting, we enjoyed listening to Mary Hart, CEO at the YMCA Domestic Assault Shelter talk about the variety of services offered at their Domestic Assault Shelter program.
Four ladies were initiated into our club. They are pictured with their sponsors, membership committee and our club President, JeffAnne
Meg, our Health and Wellness Chairperson, reminded us about knitting hats and scarves for the Seafarers. She also spoke to us about an upcoming sewing project.
Linda to us about the importance of donating blood. Susan talked about raffle baskets for our upcoming fashion show next year.
Jean, our District Director, showed us the size of handmade tissue holders that will be included in women's domestic violence shelter bags for the National Day of Service.
Our ladies brought in many donations for our ongoing projects and community service programs.
Afterwards, we ate at a local Italian restaurant.

Seven members and one guest went to the mall outing at the Wellington mall for lunch today. It was a nice group. Our ladies ate lunch, socialized and caught up with the latest GFWC Greater West Palm Beach Women's Club activities.

The GFWC Greater West Palm Beach Women's Club stopped by the Palm Beach Zoo today to deliver a special treat and a huge thank you to the hardworking zookeepers! Our ladies learned about the animals. It was a treat to see a mother koala and her joey (baby) at the zoo!

​We are so grateful for everything they do to care for the amazing animals and keep our community's wildlife sanctuary thriving every single day. 💚
