A very special creative connection! 💙

Our Britto Walk FashionAble 101 class at The Arc of Palm Beach County has been busy transforming preloved garments into colorful wearable art inspired by the work of Romero Britto.

Recently, Sandra Raffaelli, aZul’s Founder & CEO, and Monica, our Program & Outreach Coordinator, had the opportunity to meet Romero Britto, share the story of what our Creatives are creating, and gift him a special shirt designed by our FashionAble 101 participants.

They also invited him to join us for the Britto Walk FashionAble Runway Show on July 15th, where our Creatives will celebrate their creativity and hard work.

Our ActiveArt Lunch took us to The Society of the Four Arts for an inspiring day of art, history, connection, and conversation. The following week, that inspiration came to life in ArtAbilities through hands-on terrarium creation.

Join us for a special ActiveArt experience with watercolor artist Monica Meerwarth Fernsell. ActiveArt takes participants beyond the studio into real-world creative spaces to experience art firsthand and be inspired.
Following the visit, participants will have lunch and meaningful conversation reflecting on the experience together.

The following week participants can take part in a hands-on ArtAbilities studio experience exploring color, expression, and artistic exploration.

A heartfelt thank you to the amazing stylists and staff at Dress for Success Palm Beaches for making our Creative Designer Teams look and feel their very best. 💙✨

They styled 6 designer teams — 14 individuals total — and the confidence, joy, and empowerment felt throughout the day was incredible to witness. Experiences like this support not only self-confidence, but mental health and overall wellbeing too.
