Human Trafficking Coalition Of The Palm Beaches

Human Trafficking Coalition Of The Palm Beaches In 2021, HTCPB received 501 (c) (3) non-profit status from the Internal Revenue Service and is tax-exempt. There is no membership fee to join PBHTC.

The Human Trafficking Coalition of the Palm Beaches serves as a unifying force in Palm Beach County for human trafficking awareness and prevention through education, community collaboration, and survivor empowerment. Established in 2005, The Human Trafficking Coalition of the Palm Beaches (HTCPB) is a private/public partnership of county agencies, non-profit organizations, law enforcement, civic g

roups, and community members. The mission of the Human Trafficking Coalition of the Palm Beaches is to prevent human trafficking in the Palm Beaches by building partnerships, fostering collaborations, identifying resources, and providing education and outreach. The HTCPB membership is made up of people who have come together to further the HTCPB mission. Any person who wants to join the HTCPB will complete a membership application with contact information, attend regularly scheduled monthly meetings, volunteer to sit on one of the committees, and attend committee meetings as scheduled by the chair person. Each member makes a commitment to be active and contribute to the coalition through participation in scheduled events or to represent the HTCPB when collaborating with other community agencies or organizations. One not-for-profit agency may hold any self-proclaimed donations to the HTCPB and will report such as needed.

Thank you to WPBF 25 News for including us on this story! We commend the 9 year old for going to her mother to report what she was experiencing. We hope other youth see this as an example of what they can do if they find themselves in this situation.

For information and resources relating to sextortion and human trafficking, check out HTCPB’s [kNOw MORE] Resource Library at www.htcpb.org .

Investigators say the man created a fake profile and started chatting with the child online. Police say he eventually convinced the girl to send him a naked picture. FULL STORY ⬇️

Strong partnerships and collaborative leadership remain essential in the fight against human trafficking.

Recently, the Human Trafficking Coalition of the Palm Beaches was honored to meet Florida Attorney General AG James Uthmeier and thank him for his commitment to addressing human trafficking and supporting efforts that protect vulnerable individuals across Florida.

Human trafficking impacts communities across our state, and meaningful progress happens when advocates, service providers, law enforcement, policymakers, and community leaders work together toward survivor-centered solutions.

We appreciate the continued collaboration and shared commitment to building safer communities through awareness, education, and action across the state of Florida.
