Florida voters: Amendment 3 is on the November 3, 2026 ballot. Here’s how to get informed before you vote. 🗳️

This amendment could affect homeowners, renters, and the local services our communities rely on. Understanding what it does (and what it doesn’t do) is the first step toward making a confident decision at the ballot box.

We’ve gathered a set of resources to help:
📄 A one-page guide to the amendment
📜 The official ballot language
🏘️ Information on potential impacts for renters
🔍 An overview of what Amendment 3 is, and isn’t
🧮 The Palm Beach County Property Appraiser’s impact calculator
🎥 Dorothy Jacks’ recorded presentation
📊 A statewide analysis of potential rental housing impacts
These materials are provided for educational purposes only and do not advocate for or against Amendment 3. Our goal is simply to help residents review the facts, consider the potential impacts, and make their own informed decision.

New treasurer: NAR must 'replenish reserves' depleted by settlements

NAR directors did vote on one contested race, electing Patti Fitzgerald to serve as treasurer for 2027 and 2028. Fitzgerald received 506 votes, compared to 424 votes cast for Matt Ritchie.

Fitzgerald, a Realtor for more than 40 years and member of the Florida Real Estate Commission and NAR's Finance Committee, stressed her experience in protecting the association's long-term financial resilience.
