Jack The Bike Man

Our mission is to strengthen our community through bicycle donations, education and safety programs.

Jack the Bike Man is a West Palm Beach nonprofit bicycle charity and community bike shop helping people gain freedom, confidence, and reliable transportation through bicycles. Our vision is to ensure underserved people of all ages and abilities have access to reliable bicycles, safety education, and supportive programs that open pathways to work, wellness, and community connection.

We started this campaign hoping our community would show up for these students— and you did. Every donation, share, and word of encouragement helped us go beyond our original goal.

Thank you for helping us share the story of 37 incredible kids who learned to ride with Wee Wheel Wellington — and rode away with bicycles of their very own.

And we’re not done yet. Our goal is to provide 100 bicycle packages to local students this back-to-school season. We’re already at 58!

It’s week 2 of our Character Counts fundraiser! Here’s what your support makes possible. 🚲

A complete bicycle package includes:
✔️ New bicycle
✔️ Safety inspection
✔️ Helmet
✔️ Lock
✔️ Proper bike fitting
✔️ Bicycle safety education

We’re raising $20,000 by September 15 to help cover the cost of 100 new bicycle packages that will be distributed to students recognized through our Character Counts program this fall and winter.

A bike can change someone’s day in ways that most of us don’t even think about.

A bike can mean getting to work, making it to an appointment, or simply having a little more freedom and independence to move around in our community.

We recently connected with our friends at St. Ann’s, and it was a good reminder that looking out for each other doesn’t always have to be complicated. Sometimes it’s a bike. Sometimes it’s your time. Sometimes it’s simply showing up.

This year, we don’t have enough donated children’s bicycles to recognize every deserving
student nominated through our Character Counts program.

So we’ve set a goal to raise $20,000 by September 15 to help cover the cost of 100 new bicycle
packages—and we could use your help.

they’ve earned.

Every bicycle that comes through our doors has the potential to become someone’s transportation to work, school, healthcare, or simply a source of joy.

Before it’s donated, each bike is cleaned, repaired, safety inspected, and properly fitted so every rider can leave with confidence.
