Over the weekend, we welcomed dozens of incredible women into the Junior League of the Palm Beaches as our Fall 2026 New Member Class, kicking off with our New Member Retreat.

These women are joining an organization with 86 years of steadfast service to the Palm Beaches, and we're excited for the connections they'll build and the impact they'll make.

Kinda Chic to... change your community while changing yourself.

As a member of the Junior League of the Palm Beaches, you're not just volunteering. You're helping provide period supplies to women in need, supporting childhood literacy, screening children for vision and hearing concerns, partnering with local nonprofits, and raising funds that help Palm Beach County organizations expand their impact.

JLPB committee leaders gathered for training and to hear from the Executive VP about the vision, priorities, and strategies that will guide the League throughout the year.

Strong leaders inspire others to lead. Maria Pumarejo () is one of those leaders. Her passion for service, commitment to community, and ability to bring people together have made a lasting impact on the Junior League of the Palm Beaches.

Maria serves as our 2026-2027 Nominating Chair and continues to help shape the future of JLPB by identifying and cultivating the next generation of volunteer leaders.

Professionally, Maria serves as Vice President of Development at Junior Achievement of the Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast, Inc. () , where she advances fundraising efforts, builds meaningful community partnerships, and helps create opportunities that inspire and empower young people.
