On January 31, 2026, the Criminal Justice Academy hosted another successful FPSA regional competition at Keiser University, bringing home 13 first-place 🏆🚔 Now the team is focused and preparing for the state competition in April — and we’re ready to bring the same energy and excellence 💪🔥

Yesterday we had our gift wrapping event with Criminal Justice 🎁✨ It was great coming together to give back and support our community. Now we’re getting ready for the Achievement Center and excited for what’s ahead!

🖤💙 The Criminal Justice Academy sends our deepest condolences to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office. We are heartbroken over the loss of two remarkable women in law enforcement Deputy Sheriff Terra McKinnon of Polk County and Sgt. Terri Mashkow of Indian River County.

Their courage, dedication, and service to their communities will forever be remembered. May their families, friends, and all who served alongside them find strength and comfort during this difficult time. 💙🖤

On Monday, November 24, the Criminal Justice Academy visited the homes of several underprivileged families to deliver Thanksgiving meals. 🦃💛 This opportunity to give back to the community is something we are truly grateful for every year. 🙏🏽🍂 Happy Thanksgiving! 🧡

Atlantic Community High School’s Criminal Justice Academy now offers to our High School Students the 911 Dispatch Telecommunications Program. Students complete the 232-hour course and complete the state exam this allows students to earn the Industry Certification prior to High School graduation and are ready for the workforce. So, they can be the lifeline to it all, the heroes you don’t see.
