Members of PBMQG made 140 Bonding Hearts that were delivered this week to The Children’s Healing Institute for their Teacup Preemie Program. These fabric hearts are given to mothers of preemies in NICUs throughout Palm Beach County. The mothers wear the hearts, which absorb their scent, and are then placed with the baby to help with bonding.

A pre-thanksgiving Sew Day at Jupiter Public Library. Our members love our "Piecing for the Police" projects that we gift to deserving members of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Department.

Gardens Art Artist Reception with The Palm Beach Modern Quilt Guild.
A new art exhibition is coming to your City Hall Lobby. Join us on Tuesday, December 9 for The Palm Beach Modern Quilt Guild’s GardensArt Artist Reception from 5 to 7 p.m. in the City Hall Lobby (10500 N. Military Trail). This reception is FREE; there’ll be complimentary drinks and small bites for attendees. 🧀🍷

Can’t make the reception? You can still see their artwork. It’s on display December 8 to January 29. You can see it anytime City Hall is open (weekdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

Our members have been busy using their quilting skills for good! Our November meeting was a Sew Day woking to sew Bonding Hearts for preemie babies in the NICU. The hearts are worn next to the mother's skin to absorb her scent and then placed in the isolette with the baby to promote bonding. Thank you to Courtney from the Teacup Program for reaching out to us! 👼🏼
