❤️📚 YOUNG, CARING AND MAKING A DIFFERENCE! MEET NYLA!

Meet Nyla, a Second Form student of Wesley College who is giving her time to help younger children improve their reading skills.

Today, she patiently worked with a Standard Three student who was struggling with reading. Even after her hour was up, Nyla stayed to encourage the child to finish the book.

Now THAT is what giving back looks like! ❤️👏

Nyla is proving that you don’t have to be an adult to make a BIG difference in someone’s life. Sometimes, all it takes is a little patience, encouragement and a caring heart.

TENNIS INTRODUCED IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS

The Belize Tennis Association has officially introduced tennis classes at several primary schools, giving students an opportunity to learn the sport.

Holy Redeemer Primary School is among the schools taking part, with students already getting on the court and learning the basics.

The association also thanked Coach Adam and everyone who helped make the programme possible.

9-YEAR-OLD SPELLING BEE CHAMPION ALREADY IN STD. 5

Antonio Zabaneh III, known as Tripp, is only 9 years old and already in Standard 5 at Independence Primary School.

Tripp recently won Belize's National Spelling Bee title.

His age and grade level have drawn attention, as most Standard 5 students are older.

The achievement has earned praise from educators and supporters across the country.

At 9 years old, Tripp is already one of Belize's top young academic performers.
