National Nonprofit Day

Today, on National Nonprofit Day, we celebrate the heart behind every nonprofit: people helping people. ❤️

At the Tree of Life Resource Center, we believe that everyone deserves dignity, hope, and access to the resources they need to move forward.

Every day, we have the privilege of serving individuals and families in our community by providing food, clothing, household essentials, toiletries, feminine products, counseling, case management, and connections to critical resources.

But we know that meeting an immediate need is just the beginning. Our vision is to build a Resource Center that addresses the bigger picture — All 22 branches with housing, food, medical, education, employment, and more.

We are incredibly grateful for every volunteer, donor, community partner, business, church, organization, and individual who has helped make this mission possible. You are part of the Tree of Life. 🌳

Today, we celebrate the nonprofit community and everyone who chooses to serve.

NOW HIRING: CLEANING & RESOURCE CENTER ASSISTANT

Job location: Tree of Life Resource Center, West Palm Beach, FL

Seeking a dependable, hardworking, and responsible full-time Cleaning & Resource Center Assistant.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean and maintain the Resource Center
Take out trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility
Organize and maintain supplies
Assist with loading and unloading donations
Prepare and organize food carts for client distribution
Assist with daily operational needs of the Resource Center
Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
Dependable, responsible, and hardworking
Able to work independently
Basic math skills
Able to lift 50+ lbs. and move items as needed
Strong attention to detail
Positive attitude and willingness to help others
Previous cleaning experience required
English proficiency required
Must pass a drug screening
Must be authorized to work in the United States

POSITION DETAILS
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time
Employment Type: Hourly

The energy was absolutely contagious! 🙌🏽 From food and school supplies to backpacks, haircuts, music, mental health conversations, and so much more, the entire event was filled with positivity, connection, and community spirit. And with 2,500 people registered, it was incredible to see so many families come together! 💙

We were honored to celebrate this incredible cohort and the hard work, growth, and dedication they’ve shown. Through hands-on experience alongside nonprofit partners, these emerging leaders have strengthened their skills, made an impact in our community, and taken an important step toward their futures in the nonprofit sector.

It was inspiring to hear directly from the interns, learn about the projects they worked on, and celebrate the contributions they’ve already made.
