✏️ Introducing Write Right, the newest program in our Use Your Skills sessions!

Write Right is a FREE virtual grammar program for middle school students in foster care families, led by student volunteer Selin Erbay. Students will build strong grammar skills, write with confidence, and get a head start on future tests like the SAT.
Fridays, 6:00 to 7:00 PM on Zoom
16 sessions, November 6 through March 19
Flexible: join one session, every session, or just the dates that work for you!

Foster care families can sign up through the link ! After signing up, families will receive an email with the Zoom link.

📰 In the news! Our "HurriCANe You Be Ready" initiative was spotlighted in the Town-Crier.

RPBHS Students Build Kits For Foster Families: Student volunteers from Royal Palm Beach High School and Dr. Joaquín García High School came together at RPBHS to assemble hurricane preparedness kits for local foster families, honoring the 9/11 National Day of Service. 🙌

Their "HurriCANe You Be Ready" initiative, led by Students Speak Up For Kids in partnership with Youth Service America, brought together 100+ young people who collected donations and packed bags with essentials like flashlights 🔦, batteries 🔋, first aid supplies 🩹, toiletries, and nonperishable snacks.

Foster parents often welcome children into their homes on short notice, with little time to prepare. These kits help ensure families have what they need ahead of peak hurricane season. 💛

Thank you to every student who showed up and gave back! 👏
