Escalators used to be difficult for some of our dogs. After many repetitions they get desensitized......

Straight talk.

"I didn't want to say anything. I didn't want to make it worse." We hear it constantly.

So here is what the research is clear on: asking someone directly whether they are thinking about su***de does not plant the idea. It does not increase risk. What it does is give a person permission to stop carrying it alone.

Ask plainly. Not a softer version — the real question. Then be quiet and let them answer.

You do not need to have the fix. You need to stay, listen, and help them reach someone who does.

We train people to do this, free, for any group in Southern Nevada that will have us. Units, departments, churches, companies, teams. Message us.

I'm so proud of Jessalyn! She successfully graduated from our program very quickly and worked extremely hard. Next she was ready for some positive changes in her life thanks to her new confidence with her service dog Bluey. Now she's a total rock star, getting her own business with her long time friend Lisa, while taking care of her family at the same time! Congratulations Jessalyn!!!!! It's been a long time coming but you stuck with it..... Outstanding!!!!
