🎓 Today, we celebrated more than a graduation ceremony, we celebrated determination, growth, and the bright futures ahead for our students.

We are incredibly proud to watch our graduates take the next step toward achieving their goals and beginning meaningful careers in our community.

A special thank you to Vice Mayor Bucannon Webb, Commissioner James, our Board Chair Michael Cowan, and the many other leaders and supporters in our community who came out to celebrate and support this momentous occasion. Your encouragement and presence made this day even more meaningful.

We have an important update regarding Gulfstream Goodwill’s Got Talent.

Due to unexpected flooding at our original venue, the event has been relocated to ensure a safe and seamless experience.

This event plays a key role for the individuals we serve with intellectual and developmental disabilities, who have been working hard in preparation for their performances.

Gulfstream Goodwill’s Got Talent brings together live performances and original artwork created by students and participants from the Career Academy of the Palm Beaches and Capabilities of the Palm Beaches.

Each piece reflects their creativity and hard work, and 50 percent of every artwork sold goes directly back to the artist.

Yesterday, students from our Career Academy celebrated Valentine’s Day with a trip to the park, sharing lunch, conversation, and time together outside of the classroom.

Our program is centered on workforce training, job readiness, and building real world skills every day. The afternoon at the park gave our students an opportunity to pause, recharge, and enjoy time together after the dedication they show each day to strengthening their skills, building confidence, fostering independence, and preparing for meaningful, long term employment.

🍔 Good Grub on the Move 🍔

Our Good Grub catering program, powered by students from our Career Academy, hit the road with our food truck for a special thank-you event honoring the Town of Mangonia Park staff, the Town Council, Town Manager Ken Metcalf, and the dedicated team from the PBSO - Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

Serving our community in this way means the world to our students and staff, and we were truly grateful for the opportunity to show our appreciation and give back to those who serve our town every day.

Career Academy of the Palm Beaches is proud to participate in Birdies for Charity as part of the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches.

With a minimum $20 donation, you can join tournament season (Feb. 26–March 1, 2026), support our mission, and help us earn an extra boost from the $100,000 bonus pool. One lucky participant who predicts the total number of birdies (or closest without going over) could win $10,000 and may keep it or donate it to a participating charity.
