We’re proud to see Love, Hope & Healing Inc. highlighted by Palm Beach State College for our continued work exposing young people to new possibilities. 🙌🏾🔥

This summer marked our fifth year partnering with Palm Beach State College to provide our 5-Week Career Exploration Program on the Lake Worth campus. Our youth had the opportunity to explore hands-on career pathways including cosmetology, HVAC, health careers, automotive, culinary arts, and event planning.

For us, career exploration is about more than showing young people different jobs. It’s about helping them discover what they’re good at, what excites them, and what possibilities exist beyond what they may see every day.

At the conclusion of the program, we were also honored to recognize Palm Beach State College and its Corporate and Continuing Education team for five years of partnership and commitment to our youth.

Exposure creates possibilities. Possibilities create choices. And choices can change the direction of a young person’s life.

Thank you, Palm Beach State College, for continuing to open your campus, programs, and opportunities to the young people we serve. 💙🧡

🔥 SPONSOR A DUO. HELP BUILD THE BOND. 🔥

IGNITE: The Father & Son Grill Challenge is more than a day around the grill. It’s about creating space for fathers, father figures, mentors, sons, and mentees to connect, communicate, learn, and build stronger relationships.

For $250, you can sponsor a father-and-son, father figure-and-youth, or mentor-and-mentee duo and help cover the experience that brings them together for a day of grilling, teamwork, meaningful conversation, and our Feeding the Fire wellness circle.

Your sponsorship helps make sure cost is not a barrier for a family or mentoring relationship that should be part of this experience.

🔥 Sponsor one duo.
🔥 Sponsor multiple duos.
🔥 Challenge your business, fraternity, church, civic group, or organization to join you.

Every sponsored duo represents an opportunity to strengthen a relationship that can impact a young man long after IGNITE is over.

Phase 1 of H.O.P.E. Youth Camp was about more than visiting a college campus — it was about helping our young people see themselves there. 🎓🔥

During our multi-day overnight Leadership & College Readiness Retreat at Keiser University’s Flagship Campus, our youth got a real taste of what college life requires.

They stayed in the dorms. They learned how to navigate a college campus. They experienced what it means to manage their own time, be accountable, and take responsibility for getting where they need to be — because in college, nobody is waking you up and making sure you get to class.

And that was only the beginning.

Throughout the retreat, our youth were exposed to:

🎓 College readiness and campus navigation
💰 Financial literacy
🎤 Public speaking
💼 Entrepreneurship
⭐ Leadership development
📚 Financial aid and scholarship opportunities
📝 Choosing courses and understanding the college process
🧭 Career exploration and different pathways for their future

For some young people, college can feel like something far away or unfamiliar. We wanted to change that.

We wanted them to sleep in the dorm, walk the campus, ask questions, learn the expectations, and begin imagining themselves succeeding in an environment like this.

Because exposure matters.

Preparation matters.

And sometimes, before a young person can believe a future is possible, they have to be given the opportunity to actually see it, experience it, and picture themselves in it.

That’s what Phase 1 of H.O.P.E. Youth Camp is all about — helping our youth build the confidence, knowledge, leadership skills, and life skills they will need for whatever comes next.

And this is only Phase 1. 💙

I’ve watched young boys walk into our programs trying so hard to look “fine.”

They laugh with their friends. They keep their heads up. They say they’re okay.

But sometimes, all it takes is one simple question—

“How are you really doing?”

And suddenly, the walls come down.

Because behind the smiles are children who miss their fathers, young men who need someone to believe in them, and families doing their best with what they have.

That is why mentorship matters.

Not because one program can fix everything overnight—but because one caring adult can change the direction of a child’s life. One conversation can build confidence. One positive example can show a young person that their future is bigger than their current circumstances.

At Love, Hope & Healing, we believe every child deserves to be seen, heard, supported, and reminded:

You are not forgotten. You are not alone. And your story is still being written.

If you believe our youth deserve safe spaces, strong role models, and hope for the future, share this message. Someone in your community may need to be reminded that their presence can make a difference.

💙💛 TODAY, WE CELEBRATE THE POWER OF PURPOSE.
On National Nonprofit Day, we’re reminded that nonprofit work is about more than programs, events, or numbers.

It’s about people.

It’s the young person who needs someone to believe in them.
The parent who needs support.
The family looking for connection.
The person carrying something they haven’t been able to say out loud.
The community that deserves opportunities, resources, healing, and hope.

For 6 years, Love, Hope & Healing Inc. has been committed to showing up — not just when the cameras are there, but in the moments that matter.

We empower youth.
We strengthen families.
We support mental health and healing.
We build healthier, stronger communities.

And none of this happens alone.

To every volunteer who gives their time, every donor who believes enough to invest, every partner who opens a door, every parent who trusts us with their child, and every community member who stands beside us — THANK YOU.

You are part of this work. You are part of this impact. 💙

As we move into this next chapter, our commitment is simple:
Keep showing up.
Keep building.
Keep loving.
Keep creating opportunities.
Keep changing lives.

Because when a community comes together around its people, the impact can reach further than any one organization ever could.

WE CARE. WE ACT. WE HEAL.

Together, we change lives.
Together, we heal and build stronger communities. 💛💙

Your organization is doing important work. The community should be able to find it.

Too many nonprofits, grassroots groups, ministries, youth programs, service organizations, and community leaders are doing powerful work — but doing it in separate spaces.

Different calendars.
Different social pages.
Different email lists.
Different circles.

That means people miss events. Volunteers miss opportunities. Organizations miss partnerships. And sometimes we unknowingly duplicate work that could have been stronger together.

That is why SyncForChange exists.

SyncForChange is building one shared space where community organizations can:

✔️ Promote their events
✔️ Increase visibility
✔️ Reach more volunteers and supporters
✔️ Find organizations doing aligned work
✔️ Discover collaboration opportunities
✔️ Help the community see what is happening around them

Because stronger communities are not built in silos.
They are built when we know who is doing the work, where the work is happening, and how we can support one another.

If you are a nonprofit, grassroots organization, ministry, youth program, social-service provider, arts organization, or community changemaker:

We want you connected.

Join the network.
Submit your events.
Find your people.
Build stronger partnerships.
Create greater impact.

🔥 We’re grateful for community partners who believe in the vision behind IGNITE!

Love, Hope & Healing Inc. is proud to recognize Walmart Lake Park for supporting IGNITE: The Father & Son Grill Challenge through a Walmart Spark Good Grant.

IGNITE is more than a grilling competition. It is a family-engagement, positive male mentorship, and mental-wellness experience designed to create space for fathers, father figures, mentors, sons, and mentees to connect, communicate, build together, and have meaningful conversations about life, stress, and support.

On October 17, 2026, 20 adult-youth duos will come together at Gaines Park Recreation Center for a day of teamwork, grilling, guided conversations, and a therapist-led mental-health huddle.

We appreciate Walmart for investing in this vision and helping us create an experience that strengthens families and builds lasting bonds.
