Heath Elementary PTSO

Promote an understanding of the learning process for parents by hosting periodic programs to spotlight academic programs, data nights, and homework help sessions to help parents better meet the educational needs of students.

2. Serve as ambassadors to parents by creating a welcoming family environment and enouraging a culture of mutual respect with a team based approach.

3. Support and adhere to

the PTSO motto - "Working together to put our kids on the map".

4. To provide financial assistance for various activities, services, and/or materials for Heath Elementary School.

5. Generate positive long term results through development of yearly goals with feedback from parents and school staff.

6. Build a sense of community partnership and involvement.

7. Encourage all parents to become involved in school volunteer positions, committees and functions.

8. Promote and support new educational programs by providing collateral materials and family suport activities - establish a resource for parents with up-to-date information on core content, reading and math cirriculum, state test scores, and GT/Special Education recources.

9. Maintain a streamlined organizational system of PTSO projects through binder system and timelines to make better use of resources and respect the time committment of the volunteer.
