🐾 COMING SOON! 🐾

We are SO excited to share that in just about 10 days, this handsome boy will officially be joining the WMK9 Foundation service dog program!

Draco is a 4-month-old pup who came to us through Big Lake Humane Society & will be sponsored by The Ruff Ruck Challenge! We believe he may be a German Shepherd x Pit Bull mix.

This little guy is already crate trained, potty trained, and working hard on his obedience and socialization skills. He has a lot of growing and learning ahead of him, and we can’t wait to see what he’s capable of!

But now we’re looking for something really important…

We’re looking for a Veteran or First Responder to potentially pair with Draco! 🇺🇸

Could Draco be the dog you’ve been waiting for? If you’re a Veteran or First Responder and are interested in being considered for our service dog program, you can apply at the link below! 👇

We’re so excited to welcome Draco to the WMK9 family and can’t wait for you all to follow along with his journey! 🐾💙

🎓🐾 WE HAVE A GRADUATE!! 🐾🎓

We are SO excited to share that Sider officially graduated this week!

From learning his commands and working through public outings to building his skills alongside his Veteran, Sider has come such a long way. And now, all of that hard work has led to this incredible milestone!

Watching Sider and his Veteran grow into a team has been so special. They’ve put in the time, worked through the challenges, and built a partnership that we know will continue to grow long after graduation.

Congratulations, Sider and his Veteran!! 🎓🐕‍🦺

We are so proud of you both and can't wait to see all the places this team goes from here!

Another service dog team officially ready to take on the world! 🐾

We’ve been keeping a little secret… and we can finally share it!

With all of the excitement and posts surrounding our golf fundraiser, we didn’t want this very important announcement to get lost in the shuffle. So we kept Chief under wraps until the fundraiser was over. 😉

Meet Chief!

Chief is a 7 month old yellow lab that is sponsored by the Ruff Ruck, and he has officially been paired with his Veteran! Their journey together has already begun, and they’ve started training as a team.

We are SO excited to introduce you to these two and to watch their partnership develop. There’s a lot of work ahead, but they are already putting in the time and building the foundation for what we hope will be an incredible service dog team.

We can’t wait to bring you along for Chief’s journey and show you all the hard work that goes into creating a service dog team.

Welcome to the WMK9 Foundation family, Chief!

The secret is finally out!

🎉 $20,807!!! THANK YOU!!! 🎉

We are absolutely blown away by the support we received today!

To every golfer, sponsor, volunteer, friend, and family member who came out to support the WMK9 Foundation — THANK YOU. ❤️🇺🇸🐕‍🦺

With more than 100 golfers, we didn’t just beat last year’s fundraising total… WE MORE THAN DOUBLED IT!

💥 $20,807 RAISED!!! 💥

And there is something about our Foundation that we are incredibly proud of and will never compromise on:

100% — ALL — of the donations we receive go directly to supporting our veterans and their dogs. And that is how it always will be.

We are able to make that commitment because of two incredible groups of people: our sponsors and our volunteers.

Our amazing sponsors step up year after year to help absorb the expenses associated with our events and our mission. And just as importantly, we have an incredible group of volunteers who donate hundreds of hours of their own time behind the scenes — planning, organizing, making phone calls, finding sponsors, gathering donations, setting up, tearing down, and doing all of the things most people never see.

They don’t do it for recognition or a paycheck. They do it because they believe in the mission and believe in taking care of our veterans.

That combination — businesses willing to financially support the mission and people willing to give so much of their time — is what allows us to say that your donation goes where it was intended to go: to our veterans and their dogs. 🇺🇸🐕‍🦺

A very special thank you to Paige, Jamie, and Patrick, who worked tirelessly to make today happen. The amount of work these folks put in behind the scenes is incredible, and today simply would not have happened without them.

Seriously… WOW. No words.

To every person who golfed, donated, volunteered, sponsored, shared, or supported us in any way today — THANK YOU.

Over the next few days, we’ll be highlighting all of the incredible sponsors who helped make today possible. Please take a minute to recognize and support these businesses when you see them — they are a huge part of what makes our mission possible.

$20,807 raised. More than double last year. More veterans and dogs we can help.

What. A. Day.

From all of us at the WMK9 Foundation — THANK YOU! ❤️🇺🇸🐕‍🦺

Oliver Update!

Look at Oliver and his Veteran working on his rest command! 💙

Rest is an important part of Oliver’s service work, as it teaches him how to provide deep pressure therapy for his Veteran when needed. Watching him learn his job and seeing the connection between these two grow is so rewarding!

Oliver is putting in the work, and we’re so proud of this team and the progress they continue to make together.

Keep it up, Oliver! You’re doing a great job!

J.C. and his Veteran were out working together in public today, and these two continue to impress us!

Public outings are a great opportunity to practice skills in real-world situations, and J.C. did a fantastic job staying focused and working alongside his Veteran. From navigating distractions to building confidence as a team, every outing helps strengthen their partnership.

We love watching this team grow and can’t wait to see what they accomplish next!
