The 2026 Boston Marathon training season has begun and the firehouse water stand is ready!

Our members will be out on Saturday and Sunday's outside Fire Station #2 (1750 Comm Ave) to provide gatorade, water and snacks to everyone that is out training.

Our 2 Porta-Potties are in the parking lot now as well.
Make sure to stop by and say hello!

Any donation is appreciated to help with the cost of supplies and the porta-potties!

2025 Fill-The-Boot for the Marathon long training run will be March 22nd at Fire Station #2 Water Stand!

Please stop by and put some Loot in the Boot. Help us support Firefighter families across Massachusetts in their time of need.

We will be out as always with Water/Gatorade/Snacks and our Porta-Potty's are in the lot!

We are proud to announce the completion of the Newton Firefighters Childrens Fund Scholarship water fountain located at Newton Fire Station #2 (1750 Commonwealth Ave).

This fountain is open to runners, citizens and visitors to the City of Newton. This was created to honor our scholarship programs in remembrance of those we lost that they commemorate. It is also located at the Boston Marathon turn and is heavily utilized during marathon training months.

We would like to thank Mr. Sid for their constant support of our charity, City of Newton MA - Mayor's Office for their support of the water fountain, Newton Fire Chief Greg Gentile, City of Newton plumbers and water dept for installation, Robert Hale for his generous donation and the members of Fire Station 2 that helped to clear out, plant and maintain the area. We appreciate everyone's help and support.

We hope this will help the community for years to come!

Was created in 2012 to raise money for the children of fallen firefighters across Massachusetts, including those in our local Newton, MA community.

Each year, we proudly donate to this important cause to help provide support for these families.

At Devaney Energy, we believe in giving back and are committed to helping those who serve our community.

If you can not make the Mr. Sid’s fundraiser coming up but would like to help, there is a donation site.

All money raised will go to scholarships and help firefighters families across Massachusetts.

Mr. Sid’s casino night to benefit the Newton Firefighters Children’s Fund. This will help scholarships and goes directly to a 501c3 charity.
