What’s that you say?? The Lynn Boulder bash is back this year? AND registrations are open?

We’re organizing the Lynn Woods Boulder Bash, which this year will be a fundraiser for the to support their ongoing work at places like Farley Ledges and Hanging Mountain — and we need a small volunteer team to help plan and run the event!

We’re currently seeking help with:

🛠️ Fieldwork

Show some love to your local crag by joining us for a Quincy Quarries cleanup on September 30, 2023. This cleanup will be a joint effort coordinated by SNECC and Greater Boston Climbing School. There will be two hours of guided climbing available after the cleanup provided by GBCS, who are generously donating their time and skills for this community event. For those that need it, and have participated in the cleanup, there will be gear available to use for free for the guided climbing!

When?
-Saturday September 30, 2023
-Cleanup 11am-1pm, with two hours of guided climbing after

Lynn Woods continues to see impact from the fires last week and trails remain closed. Please continue to respect all trail closures and keep an eye on the City of Lynn FB page for all updates.

The fires are out and the Lynn Woods is reopened with the exception of Overlook Trail around Balanced Boulder and the trails between Birch Pond and Pennybrook Road.

Both these areas will be closed for the foreseeable future.

This Saturday November 5th from 12-2pm, come join us in our last cleanup of the year, at a historic climbing area located in the Blue Hills! "The Quarries" are in great need of some TLC in the form of trash cleanup! We will have gloves, trash bags and cleanup tools but feel free to bring your own if you have some. Please DM us with any questions about the cleanup. Hope to see you there!
