Everyone meet Mad Max he's a 13 year old red smooth dachshund. Rockin We**ie Dogs is helping Mad Max find a new home his current home isn't working out and he's been a grumpy fella. A little back history his previous home before his current home his owner was a elderly lady who he was very close to who passed and Max was in need of a place to go so that is how he got to his current home. We do believe Max would be happier in a home with a female to love & care for him. It's not that he doesn't like men he just doesn't adjust well to them. And he would do best as an only dog. No small children. If you would be interested in giving Max a loving home please message me for more information on Max. He is located in Monroe, LA. Right now at this time we are gonna try & see if we can find a home for him in the West Monroe or Monroe, LA area & close surrounding areas.

It's that time of the year again... HURRICANE SEASON ⛈⛈

SETX knows hurricanes, but do we know how to pet-pare? June 1st marked the first day of hurricane season, and in SETX, we know the weather can change at the drop of a hat! We cannot stress how important it is to prepare early!

When planning your evacuation, look for hotels that will allow you to bring your pets. Apps such as BringFido will show you hotels and other pet-friendly locations along your route. Ensure you have enough of your pet's food, water, and medication. Update your pet's ID tags and microchips with the best phone number to reach you, should they go missing. You will also want to have photos that show how your pet currently looks and copies of their vaccination records.

If you are interested in getting your pet microchipped, please call us at (409)838-3304. We offer microchipping for only $15! This is one of the best ways to ensure your missing pet will return to you, as it cannot fall off like an ID tag.

We will be posting more tips and information throughout Hurricane season, so check back with us regularly for helpful tricks! And remember, if it's not safe for you, it's not safe for your pets!
