Taylor joined the First West Counseling Center team in 2018 and serves as the Office Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Louisiana State University. In her spare time, Taylor enjoys running, baking, and spending time with her husband and children.

STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Mark DeBord

Mark joined the First West Counseling Center team in 2005. He holds a Masters in Social Work from Louisiana State University. He retired from the LA Office of Behavioral Health (OBH) where he worked for 31 years. Mark completed the Associate Fellow (1992) and supervisory requirements of the Albert Ellis Institute (1996) and uses REBT in his clinical work. He is a Board Approved Supervisor (BACS) for licensure as an LCSW and is available to provide supervision. Additionally, he is a Certified Trainer with Better Outcomes Now – Partners for Change Outcome Management System (PCOMS) and is available to provide training and implementation consultation. Mark is our on-site insurance option and accepts most major insurances. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, participating in and leading Bible Study, and time with his family.

STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Chloe D***s

Chloe joined the First West Counseling Center team in March of 2026 as our Office Assistant. She is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, where she is studying to become an Occupational Therapy Assistant. In her free time, she enjoys playing pickleball, fishing, spending time with friends, and going to the beach.
