The Oasis Theater Company was created in the summer of 2007 through an event called "Summer Stage". The program created by OTC was a free program in the Pittsburgh area where artistic specialists in the areas of theater, dance, music technology, Brazilian dance and set design would a show in which all of their talents could be showcased. The success of this program and show launched OTC into ventu

In October of 2007, Corey and Kim Lankford, the mother and son team, decided to create a scary yet inspirational one day event on Halloween for the children in the church where they could have an alternative to trick or treating. Hundreds of children came to the church and were astounded by the one day show where every inch of the church was used; including the dusty and dark basement which OTC used as Hell. This sparked Corey Lankford to have the idea of launching the show, formally known as "Highway To Heaven", for about 3 weekends. With much hestiation and courage they did and in the second weekend of the event, the news traveled and the people came. From that time on year after year hundreds have swarmed the lines waiting as long as 3 hours to enter this October production now known as "Hellway To Heaven." The Oasis Theater Company went on to create other productions such as BattleCry and Forgotten which were all successes. The Oasis Theater Company is also very well known for their Valentines Day Dinner Theater where you can receive great food, comedy, theater and live music for one great price. The Oasis Theater Company is dedicated to bringing quality professionalism to the stage as well as a message of hope to entertain and change the lives of those who experience their work.
