Hello everyone!
This is Edy - Coach Keiths wife and soon to be back Manager of Mercer County Special Olympics.
First and foremost, I wanted to reach out to everyone and make a public apology for my absence.
The last three years have been a very rough time. For those who dont know, I lost both my parents, very sudden and very unexpected, 13 weeks apart, in August and November of 2022.
It has certainly been a very rough road.
Secondly, I want to say thank you.
Thank you to Coach Keith, Coach Amanda and Coach Jan for keeping Mercer County going during this time. There certainly has been some trails of their own, but with God's grace, the three of them have kept going!
Next, I need to say thank you to all of our amazing athletes! I am so proud of each of you for all your hard work, determination and perseverance you've shown!
All of you have made me so incredibly happy and I can't wait to see all of you soon!

Next, some more exciting news! Mary Nigro has been chosen to represent part of Team in the USA games in June 2026!
This certainly has been a dream for Mary and I am so proud of her for getting to follow her dream. If you'd like to follow her dream, search for "Mary’s Olympic Dream"
Lastly, over the next few months, we will be rolling out some great ways for fundraising. Mercer County needs some new uniforms, gear and equipment, in addition to helping Mary get to the USA games!
