๐Ÿ—ณ๏ธ Social Action Committee Update ๐Ÿ—ณ๏ธ

On Thursday, May 28, 2026, the West Memphis Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. participated in the Blues Off Broadway event at the West Memphis Civic Center by hosting a Voter Registration Drive, Get Out the Vote Campaign, and Petition Signing Event from 6:00โ€“9:00 p.m.

While no new voter registrations were completed during the event, 22 community members stopped by our table to receive information and engage in meaningful conversations about the importance of voting, civic engagement, and the responsibility we all share in strengthening our democracy.

Additionally, seven (7) individuals signed two citizen-led petitions: the Arkansas Ballot Measure Rights Amendment and the Arkansas Educational Rights Amendment of 2026.

We appreciate everyone who took the time to visit our table, ask questions, and learn more about the power of civic participation. Together, we continue to educate, advocate, and empower our community through informed action.
