Did you know that Reborn Bikes and its program partners give away more bikes in a weekend than many bike provider groups do all year? We are not flexing here, just pointing out that when you focus on impact and results, execute the mission day in and day out, it’s pretty amazing what can happen. This weekend, we met families displaced from around the globe who now call Portland home, handing out 122 bikes and accessories thru Northwest Lutheran Community Services and IRCO at their facilities.
We only have this moment to be brave or afraid, to spiral down or raise each other up. We do it with bikes and offering a clean, healthy form of transportation and fun,but it can be done with anything - food, furniture, dance, art. Find a way, your way, to lift up the world… hope really does float.
