Another first-attempt NREMT pass!

Help us congratulate Johnna on passing her NREMT exam on the very first attempt!

As Chief of the Morgan County Rescue Squad, Johnna was out on a rescue until 6 a.m. this morning—then sat for her exam just a few hours later! Her commitment to serving her community and continuing her education speaks volumes about her dedication.

We’re proud of you, Johnna! Congratulations on this well-earned accomplishment!

Two in one day?!

Everyone help us congratulate Mr Jonah on the successful passing of his NREMT EMT Exam on the first attempt!

Like Martaia, Jonah stayed dedicated to his studies and skills, all while also being the class comedian.

Congratulations Jonah, NREMT!

We didn’t even get to make the “course completion” post before Martaia went and KNOCKED the NREMT EMT Exam out of the park on her first try!!

Ms. Martaia always went the extra mile when it came to studying, doing her skills, and during ride-time!

Congratulations Martaia, NREMT!!! All of your hard work has paid off! Now never stop learning!

A lot of time, hard work, and preparation goes into getting ready for each new EMT and AEMT course. From preparing the classroom and equipment to planning lessons, scheduling clinicals, and getting everything ready for our students, there’s a lot that happens behind the scenes before the first day of class.

We’ve been busy getting everything in place, and we’re excited to welcome our Fall 2026 EMT and AEMT students to Morgan County EMS Training & Education Institute!

We’re looking forward to another semester of teaching, hands-on training, and watching our students grow into confident, capable EMS professionals.

To our incoming students, we hope you’re ready! It’s going to be a busy few months, but we’re excited to get started and can’t wait to see what this group accomplishes.

Here’s to another great cohort and another group of future EMS professionals! 🚑

See y’all next week!

Big congratulations to brothers Peyton and Brady for passing their AEMT National Registry Exam on the first try!

These two have put in a lot of hard work and time to get to this point, and we couldn’t be more proud of them.

Getting to watch both brothers go through the program and now both become AEMTs makes this one pretty special.

Congratulations, Peyton and Brady! You earned it!

Come see us this Saturday at the Team Heart & Stroke 5K Run/Walk & Kids 1 Mile Fun Run! ❤️🏃

Morgan County EMS Training & Education Institute will be set up at the event providing FREE ECG screenings as part of our commitment to heart health, prevention, and early detection.

Each participant will receive a printed copy of their ECG to take to their primary care physician for follow-up if needed. We will not interpret ECGs unless an immediate life-threatening concern is identified. Anyone under 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign a consent form before the screening.

Heart disease and stroke can sometimes develop without obvious warning signs. Knowing your blood pressure, recognizing symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, fainting, or palpitations, and keeping up with routine healthcare visits are all important parts of protecting your heart.

📅 Saturday, September 12, 2026
⏰ Registration begins at 7:30 AM
🏁 Race begins at 9:00 AM

Stop by, see us, get a free ECG, and learn a little more about taking care of your heart. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone Saturday! ❤️

**Screening ECGs do not replace evaluation by your healthcare provider. If you are experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing, fainting, or another medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate medical care.**
