If you read your WVYS email last night you learned that we are moving! I was able to take a tour of the new facilities at Lafayette Jeff last night and WOW! They are incredible!!!! Huge thanks to our winds coordinator Tyler Long for working out the details!
Our students will have ample ample AMPLE room to rehearse, large spaces to have sectionals, and access to additional space for the upcoming concerto competition!!!! It's very modern and feels very professional over there - can't wait for parents to see this! Not to mention we will have use of a couple of gorgeous pianos! We will have access to state of the art technology, including an amazing sound system, smartboard technology, and many other tools. There's a Conference room, a full time security guard to buzz students in the building and watch over our materials... This is a definite upgrade and the entire staff is thrilled, excited, invigorated, and inspired. Most of all - we are excited for the students to have more room to spread their wings, to grow musically. We will be available to answer any questions/concerns at the parent meeting! Dr Wild laid out all details in the email! See you next week!
