Supporters insist that escaping EU business regulations will benefit the UK, but opponents insist that remaining a part of a united Europe allows Britons to play a necessary role in a diverse network of economies. Stock prices have risen and fallen around the globe as more news regarding Brexit's ramifications becomes public, affecting business in the US and elsewhere. What impacts of the decision have you observed during your business studies? How do you believe the UK will eventually make out after all is said and done?

Massive drops in market indices and leading tech stocks suggest to many analysts that today might mark the beginning of a global economic "correction." While it may be too early to tell for sure, experts suggest that stock prices may be in for long term losses, after what has been a record-breaking winning streak for the economy. Large American firms have been at the forefront of the losses today, but international markets are sure to suffer. The question is, for how long? What do you think? Recent tariffs imposed on steel imports into the US have bolstered the American steel industry. Political opponents warn of the consequences of a global "trade war." However, regardless of the controversy, new life can be seen for now in the once struggling Rust Belt. What is your take on recent international trade policies and their effects close to home here in Indiana?
