Sometimes, you find a community when you weren’t even looking for one. 🙌

“I came to college not looking for a church at all. It just happened that I walked into a campus ministry and walked through those doors, met Pastor Glen, and the rest is history.”

For Wesley’s previous student intern, one step through the doors of Wesley led to a community that became an important part of their college experience.

Friday Fellowship well spent at Exploration Acres. 🎃🍂

10/14/2026

A little adventure, a lot of fellowship, and moments of reflection! 🏕️

More than a dozen Wesley students headed to Warren Dunes for two nights of camping, hiking over four miles, and even braving the very cold waters of Lake Michigan.

But the most meaningful moments came at sunrise and sunset, when students climbed to the top of the dunes for quiet reflection and devotion. With a focus on sharing their God-given talents with the world, students were reminded to embrace their gifts and use them with confidence and purpose.

Grateful for time spent growing in faith, connecting with one another, and taking in the beauty of God's creation! 💛

Meet the people (and faces!) who make Wesley Campus Ministry a home away from home. 💛✨

Glen, Desiree, Mack, Janee, and Mabree work behind the scenes and alongside students to make Wesley a welcoming place for everyone who walks through the doors of the Wesley Student Center. From everyday support to creating spaces for connection, they’re here for students every step of the way.

At Wesley, students have the freedom to be brave, try new things, and figure things out along the way. You don’t have to have it all planned out, and trying something new doesn’t have to be perfect.

Wesley is a community open to all, where you can show up as you are, be supported, and know you’re loved no matter what. 💛

Boiler Gold Rush Week at Wesley! 🌟

What a week! During BGR, Campus Ministry welcomed students with a full lineup of events, including move-in lunches, a root b**r float social, ultimate frisbee night, Euchre night, and, of course, Midnight Pancakes!

This BGR was extra special as we hosted these events for the first time in our new Student Center. From sharing a meal to making new friends, it was a week full of connection, community, and plenty of fun.

For Owen, one service was all it took to find a place where he felt at home. What started with a single visit grew into a deeper faith journey and, eventually, baptism at Wesley.

We’re so grateful to be a place where students can come as they are, grow in their faith, and take meaningful steps along the way.
