Prayers to the officers, the family and the fellow officers.

Two Fall River, MA police officers were shot early Sunday morning during a violent struggle with an armed suspect. One officer was struck in the elbow; another was shot in the abdomen but saved by his ballistic vest. A third officer was also involved.

🚒 Firefighter health matters! A new sleep study from West Metro Fire Rescue in Colorado found that early 7 a.m. shift start times were cutting into firefighters’ rest — even before responding to calls. To help crews get better restorative sleep and improve alertness and safety on long 48-hour shifts, the department voted to move shift start times later — from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. starting in January. The change follows months of data showing more natural rest can support performance, reduce reliance on caffeine, and benefit long-term health. 🛏️👨‍🚒
