Indiana GEAR UP

💔 Our Grant Has Ended

It is with heavy hearts, we report that as of 9/30/25, our grant funding has come to a close. We had hoped to double our impact in this next chapter—but the new grant got ended just as it was launching.

Still, the legacy lives on. In every student we empowered, every staff member who showed up, and every community we touched. It has been a true pleasure to serve the students of Indiana.

The work isn’t over and the mission of empowering students for success marches on!

Gary students got their hands dirty and worked hard to cleanup areas near their school. They continued the day learning about ecology and careers. We are proud to partner with Shirley Heinze and others to make these events possible for students!

GEAR UP students from West Side Leadership Academy visited the Purdue campus yesterday. Students got to eat in the dining halls, tour the campus, learn about resources and supports available to Purdue students, and meet some other West Side alum that work on the Purdue campus!
