Since the organization was founded in 1968, The Purdue Dance Team has displayed continuous spirit and enthusiasm for Purdue University Athletics. The team began as a large spirit group and is now an elite performance and competition team. Originally a part of Athletics, the dance team is now a self-supported student organization still committed to promoting Purdue Spirit. Our team has also been th
rough many identity changes, including names such as The Pep Squad, The Pepsters, The Boiler Babes, and currently The Purdue Dance Team. For roughly 10 years, The Purdue Dance Team has competed at the National Dance Alliance College Nationals Competition each year in the Division IA Category. The Purdue Dance Team is dedicated and honored to represent Purdue University at this event each year. The Purdue Dance Team performs at home football and select basketball and volleyball games.
