Moz Mission – Dreams
I recently started reading books on dream interpretation and the more I start to concentrate on remembering and writing down my dreams and specifically communicating with my special and precious friend, Holy Spirit, about them, the more I experience how God speaks specifically to my heart almost every night.

Yes, there is a lot to say about dreams and interpretation and yes, dreams are the body's way of processing things that happen during the day, but the Word of God is full of examples that God can also give you direction and wisdom and His thoughts through dreams.

I briefly want to share one dream with you. I dreamed that I was in my house and was closing the door because I saw three big dangerous dogs outside that wanted to come in. One dog did manage to push the window open and came in and came for me. I felt his teeth and spit in my hands as I tried to stop him while screaming for help and the next moment Justus was there and shot the dog.

The first interpretation that Holy Spirit gave me was that the three dogs are three mindsets. I then realized that I have been thinking and praying about three specific things lately.
1. Finances for us personally and our work in Mozambique.
2. Our calling to actually work in Moz at this stage of our lives and
3. About healing as my daughter is going through the chemo process fighting cancer.

Precious Holy Spirit gently showed me that my dream is clear that I have protected myself from 2 of the 3 things I am praying about but that I still need victory over one of these ways of thinking that can destroy my life. When I was able to identify this, I knew to close the window is to change my thinking as Rom 12:2 encourage us to do.

If you are thinking about the same things in your life, remember:
God is our faithful loving Father who cares and always provides more than we need.
1. Close the door on WORRY about finances to stand, walk and live by faith about who Father God is.
2. 2. Close the door on DOUBT and stand in faith that you are called by God to be worthy in whatever you are doing.
3. Close the door on FEAR by changing your mindset to think like God because healing has already been purchased for us by Jesus' blood.

God sees the end from the beginning and has given us a promise in Isaiah 55:10 to hold on to: “As the rain comes down from heaven and waters the earth, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so is My Word that will not return to Me void, but will accomplish what it was sent for.”

I would like to encourage you to become more aware of what you dream and write it down. Ask your closest friend, precious Holy Spirit within you, to give you the interpretation and see what God is saying to you in your dreams to guide and protect you.

Moz Mission - To Pray
Early one morning while walking on the beach, I was looking at the waves and the rays of the sun coloring the sky so beautifully and felt so aware of the presence of God and I felt precious Holy Spirit gently say: “Pray”

Immediately I thought about the words Jesus taught his disciples “Father, Your will be done, Your Kingdom come here in Mozambique as it is in heaven”

As I said this, more spontaneous thoughts came to my heart about what God’s will for us here could be: To release God’s Word over the city, the projects and individual people, declaring that His word never returns void, but accomplishes what it is sent to do.

Justus and I sincerely want to thank every person who has supported this “Mos Mission” journey. Thank you not only for your generosity in financial support, but more for believing in us, encouraging us, giving goods, praying and helping to make it possible for us to be here.

I came back from the beach, full of faith, hope and vision to be part of establishing God’s Kingdom here. We carry the King within us. It is part of our identity and design to co-reign with Jesus and to speak forth life where there is destruction, healing where there is pain, peace where darkness has influenced hearts and circumstances. We are here to establish His love, His authority and His presence into places that still feel broken and chaotic.

We are already seeing changed lives and circumstances turned around in our focused areas. A full report with financial feedback will be send separately to all our current supporters. If you want to read more about the details of our work here, just send me a WhatsApp +27 82 9721889

Lisa, our daughter, is doing well during her chemo treatment and we praise God for seeing Kingdom life established within the storm.

Be encouraged. Stand in faith to speak God’s word and heart into your own circumstances and people in your life and experience within yourself the peace of Jesus; the faithfulness of our loving Father and the power flowing from precious Holy Spirit within you.

Moz Mission – My personal journey – Passover
This week as we prepare and join our hearts with millions of believers to focus on Jesus to remember his sacrifice for us as the “Passover Lamb” I realized that my focus major more on my own circumstances as we as a family are waiting for results of scans and blood tests for my daughter’s cancer diagnosis to determine further treatment. In my own way I identified with the pain and prayer of Jesus to Father God to let this cup pass…. I know our family are facing a trial that would be more than physical; it would be spiritual and emotional, as well.

This morning, I sat quietly with my “mommy heart” deeply troubled for Lisa and all my children so far away and simply asked precious Holy Spirt: How? and clearly only one answer came: “ME”

Spontaneous thoughts followed and I believe this sacred week is a powerful time to draw near to God and place every area of our lives under the covering of the promised freedom, protection, healing and blessing through the blood of Christ.

Heb12:2 “Jesus endured the cross for the joy that was set before him”

Don’t focus on the trail but fix your eyes on the finished work of Jesus on the cross and his promise of divine union with God through His own precious spirit in John 16:7.
Be ready to celebrate as this same spirit who resurrected Jesus from the dead dwells within us to ignite new strength, hope and victory to "live a new life".

Whatever path you are walking on now, continue in faith just as Jesus showed us to trust God completely and to focus on His promises only. We fix our eyes on Jesus while yielding to precious Holy Spirt who is almighty God living inside of us as our comforter, helper, counselor and ever-present closest friend.

Our calling to Mozambique came to mind and a new zeal entered my heart for what God wants to do there through us. The wounds of my own life will be the testimony of Jesus that will bring hope, healing and victory to many others and glory to God.

With every meal remember Jesus as our bread of life and let us hold each other's hands in our trials with awareness of the intimate presence of precious Holy Spirit in all of us.

Be aware of the “ME” also in you.

Moz Mission – Look at what is unseen
After praying this morning for the needs of my children, friends, our student house and our 4 financial requests for support, mentioned in my previous post, I just became quiet in my heart and wait to hear what God wants to say to me.

Precious Holy Spirit so clearly whispered: “Do not focus on what is seen”

Do you have a need or are you burdened about something? Take this word this morning and meditate on it for a while within your own circumstances and may God’s spirit brings your spirit to a place of rest, peace, faith and trust in Jesus alone.

Let me use the 4 individuals you know about already to share with you what I experienced and what we need to respond to if we want to support these precious people:

1. Alfredo – His motivation letter for funding described his love for his family as the driving factor and his parents, despite their limited means had always encouraged him to pursue education and to dream of a better future.

LOVE is the unseen focus here. Love is a driving force

2. Piris – Being an orphan form the age of 4 paved the way for a challenging childhood with no hope for the future, BUT GOD placed a passion in his heart to fix electric things and the small successions he had gave him hope to study electricity for a better future.

HOPE is the unseen focus here.

3. Dina – Being one of six children with only a dad to care for them, she stood out as the always friendly, energetic child with lots of imagination. With the first funds coming in for Dina, we bought her first school dress and her childlike joy touched everyone’s heart who was watching.

JOY is the unseen focus here.

4. Anieta – Being in an incurable physical condition she told me the only thing that is keeping her alive is her faith that God can do the impossible in healing or in providing for the support for the medical procedure.

FAITH is the unseen focus here.

Don’t look at the facts and the financial needs but allow Holy Spirit to motivate you to sow into the unseen reality of the fruits of the spirit that is deep seated in these four individuals.

Love comes from God and is the purest driving force for all we do.
Hope motivates trust for the future and action in the now.
Joy expresses the thankfulness in our hearts and makes the presence of God real.
Faith is the only way to please God and to receive a miracle.

Be encouraged to look at your own circumstances to what is unseen and may God Himself through His precious Spirit show you what He sees and to what He will respond to.

Moz Mission – Every child matters
Our work in Mozambique was born out of a simple but unwavering conviction:
that every child matters, and that change is possible — even if it begins with only a few.

We do not measure impact only by numbers reached, but by lives changed.
A child who is fed.
A preschooler who is nurtured and prepared for learning.
An orphan who is seen, known, and supported.
A young life redirected toward purpose, dignity, and hope.

While we cannot change the circumstances of every child in Mozambique, we can — and do — change the story for those entrusted to our care. Even when the numbers are small, the impact is deep. A child who receives consistent care, education, and emotional support carries new possibility — for themselves, their family, and the generations that follow.

Take our hands and choose where your support can go to make a difference:
1. Flood relief support.
We contributed to the purchase of material, buckets and lids, maize, squash or butternut seed and fertilizer. Many starving families who was only able to be reached by rowboat. Many volunteers brought their own sewing machines to cut he material for capulanas. Due to hunger, many people were found collecting products contaminated with floodwaters, and hundreds in Xai Xai have diarrhea from the water. Your financial donations greatly helped the flood victims. Our partners send photos of filling buckets with seed for planting, a bit of fertilizer, some clothing, the Emmanuel Discipleship studies, a capulana cloth and some kids and adult clothing, drinking water sanitizing products, and more basic food like rice to help families survive. This support will continue thought the year until the first crops produce food for the families. Any monthly financial support will continue to touch the lives of many.
2. Pre-school education
The pre-schools are reopening and our support will continue to 3 individual teachers making a difference in the remote villages to more about 100 specific children in need of education support. Educational support of just R100 per child per month is making that difference!
3. Orphan care and upliftment
Taking hands with Carol, our support will continue to bring lasting change in these children’s lives and practical circumstances. Our vision is to make R5000 per month available for these more or less 50 kids. This will also include support to families who took individual orphans into their homes.
4. Individual Care
a. Alfredo - Sponsorship of R 3 800 per month (x10 months) is needed to cover his university fees, accommodation, food, internet and transport.
b. Piris – Sponsorship of R2 000 per month (x 10 months) is needed to cover his university fees, accommodation, food, clothing and books.
c. Anieta – Sponsorship of R60 000 is needed as a co-payment to the medical aid for a critical medical procedure to save this mother’s life.
d. Dina – Sponsorship of R 500 per month is needed to cover her school fees, clothing, food and transport for this year.
5. Rebuilding Church structures and training facilities
Come and be practically involved in rebuilding structures and training women, enabling them to live in dignity.
6. Christmas gift bags
Be part of the end year blessing of the Christmas season.

Every donation matters.
