Wildhood’s first year in a new state has been a season of working the ground and planting seeds. Preparing the space and connecting with community to build the framework for something great. Sometimes I feel like I’ve just had my head down working and while everything in the world goes on around me.

Then I look up and I see this.

Utah sunsets are the vision that comes to mind when I hear “Purple mountain majesties” in America the Beautiful.

What a beautiful place to call home.
What a beautiful place for my children to learn a land.

Mountains, deserts, rivers, lakes, valleys.
Waterfalls, salt flats, lava pools, arches, lava tubes, chutes, and canyon.
Moose, snakes, bears, horses, hawks, cats, wasps, and bees.

Drive an hour in any direction and you’re in another world.

Thank you, Jesus. What a blessing to be alive right here, right now

This may seem a bit detached or insensitive to the situation that others may be experiencing. But I’m not sure we were made to know and process all that is happening in the world at once.

Are you hoping to keep them active and off their devices as much as possible?

Welcome to Wildhood Revival!

I am leading a few small, affordable kids outdoor camps to start the summer and would love your kids join!

The dates are June 9-13, 16-20, 23-27. Camp will be from 9am-1pm each day.

Summer camps will be Nature and Art Camp, where we will explore local nature open spaces, learn about local animals and plants, do fun crafts and projects, and play outside all day!

🌸I am currently working on opening an outdoor playschool at our house in the neighborhood near Riverside Elementary.

This will be my first offering, spring break kids camp!

This week will be for kids 4-10 yo

The theme is ‘Signs of Spring’ and we will do art and garden activities, as well as a nature hike to the Jordan River each day.
