Rockhounders Outreach for Community Knowledge

Rockhounders Outreach for Community Knowledge R.O.C.K. The R.O.C.K. club's purpose is to:
1. Set up educational programs for children, youth & adults in geology and earth sciences.
2.

Stimulate learning and the education of adults in geology, mineralogy, lapidary and related sciences.
3. Provide an educational forum for the community to teach the above sciences via public presentations to other charitable or civic organizations.
4. Further the interest in collecting and cutting of gem materials, lapidary, and related arts, as well as identification of stones and their origins.

5. Promote the association of people with these same interests.
6. Share materials, ideas and knowledge of gem material and location.
7. Educate club members on how to show rock and gem materials, and to publicly show work accomplished by club members.
8. Arrange field trips to rock and gem locations for the purpose of collecting specimens and educating members and invited guests.
9. Establish on-going programs whereby individuals or organizations can participate in providing educational services to children, youth and adults in the Salt Lake City area.

💰 Time to renew your 2026 R.O.C.K. club membership if you haven’t already.
Annual membership: Adults $20, Couple $25, Family $35.
Membership renewals are due by end of March to continue receiving news, emails and activity information.
